Structural deformation of common mistakes in installing aluminum alloy formwork

Mar 25, 2021

Structural deformation: After the aluminum alloy formwork was demolished, it was found that the concrete columns, beams, and walls showed bulging, necking or warping.

Reason analysis: the distance between the support and the purlin is too large, and the rigidity of the template is poor. The connecting piece is not set according to the regulations, and the integrity of the formed template is poor. The wall template has no opposite pull bolts or the bolt distance is too large, and the bolt specifications are too small. The support between the inner molds of the door and window openings is not strong, and the molds are easily squeezed when the concrete is vibrated. The distance between the clamps of the beam and column formwork is too large, or the formwork is not clamped, or the number of tension bolts is insufficient, so that some aluminum alloy formwork cannot accept the lateral pressure that occurs when concrete is vibrated, resulting in partial explosion of the mold. The speed of pouring wall and column concrete is too fast, the height of one irrigation is too high, and the vibration is excessive.

Prevention measures: When designing aluminum alloy formwork and supporting system, full consideration should be given to its own weight, construction load, and the content of concrete and the lateral pressure that occurs during pouring, to ensure that the aluminum alloy formwork and support have sufficient bearing capacity, rigidity and stability. The support distance at the bottom of the beam should be able to ensure that no deformation occurs under the action of the concrete component and the construction load. The upper part of the beam and wall formwork must have temporary supports to ensure the width of the beam and wall opening when the concrete is poured. When pouring concrete, it is necessary to uniformly symmetrically do not cut the material, and strictly control the irrigation height, especially on both sides of the door and window opening formwork. It is necessary to ensure that the concrete is vibrated and compact, but also to avoid deformation of the formwork caused by over-fire vibration.
